I have just been reading page 65 of "A HISTORY OF CLAY COUNTY" by Roy White.
William Baker was hung for the murder of Frank Prewett on January 15, 1850.
His trial began in June 1848.

His wife Matilda was implicated in the murder. She was transferred to Owsley
Co for her trial. I don't know the exact date of her trial, but I sure would
like to know how
that came out.

Anyone have information on her trial?
