Dear list,

I have to correct the following;

Cindy has proof that Hardin and William were 1st cousins, so the
following is not correct.

It would seem to me that Hardin Durham b.1807-1809 would be the son of
William II and Judith Hardin and not the son of Wm.I. Anyone agree with
that?

So back to square one on Hardin. I can guess he was the son of Joseph
and Elizabeth / Nancy Chasteen, making him a cousin to William. I think
that his being a cousin is another link in proving William Green Durham,
b.1818 is the son of William and Judith Ann Hardin. Cindy is going to
tell me to quit this thinking. Maybe I am playing the devil's advocate
here just to stir up the thought process.
