The faith of the Court having been pledged by the County Judges to levy for
the payment of the following claims It is now ordered that said claims be
allowed and levied for at the present Term. Among those listed: To aid in
the support of Ann Durham $10.00

LCM note: This Ann Durham is probable same Ann listed as 25 yrs in the
household of William Durham 60 yrs b TN.

The Court releases H C Sitton & W G Durham from the payment of County Levy
Tax from & after the present years 1863.

LCM note: Anyone know if KY law provided a release of CO tax at age c 65
yrs? Early VA law released levy when tax payer was in 60's or unable etc.
The name Sitton could be Sutton.
