Frank Prewitt who was sent to the pen 3 years ago for breaking into and taking goods from J. Fish's store at Wildie returned Tues having served his time
Miss Lucy Wallen daughter of W.M. Wallen died Friday of consumption. This is four out of the family that died with this disease the mother and tree grown sisters.
The Mountain Democrat says marriage license were issued this week to James Moore and Miss Julia Freeman, Luther Black and Miss Ida Clark and William C. Moren and Miss Ida Tyree
Shot: Frank Mullins son of H.J. Mullins while loading some cross ties let a 44 caliber pistol fall from the holster and hitting a rock was discharged the bail striking him about an inch below the heart passing through the body while he is suffering considerably yet it is not thought to be fatal
Most all day Tues was consumed trying Henry McClure and his four sons, Will, Charley George and Sam charged with using insulting language to Squire George Pitman. Henry McClure was fined 1ct and the cost by jury while the others were all discharged. C.C. Williams, H.J. Bethurum and Brown and McClure were the lawyers for the defense and county attorney Collyer handled the case for the commonwealth

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Tharp's little daughter Hazel, died at Loreto yesterday morning. The remains were brought to Brodhead last night where the burial took place today
