Hey All

I am searching for a marriage record for Asa Smith born: circa 1793 probably
Scott Co., KY., son of Berryman and Elizabeth (MARTIN) SMITH. He married
(Hannah) Jane Finkland (Ficklin?) who was born circa 1797. They had one
daughter born (1826) in KY., before removing to Fountain Co., Indiana.

In the book "A Biographical Record of Vermilion Co., Illinois", it states
(Hannah) Jane Smith's maiden name was "FINKLAND", since I've been unable to
find that name, I'm wondering if it wasn't suppose to be "FICKLIN", there
seems to be plenty of them in Scott Co., KY. Can anyone shed any light on
this family for me.

Berryman SMITH was born about 1760 in, Culpeper Co., VA. He died in 1839 in
Osbornes Prairie, Fountain, IN. He was buried in Osbornes Prairie,
Fountain, IN.

He was married to Elizabeth MARTIN (daughter of Jacob MARTIN and Sarah) on 31
AUG 1785 in, Fauquier, VA. Elizabeth MARTIN was born about 1762 in,
Fauquier, VA. She died in 1844. She was buried in Osbournes Prairie,
Fountain. Berryman SMITH and Elizabeth MARTIN had the following children:
