Subject: [KYSHELBY] 1880 Familysearch.com census

Hello,

George at WROTE: This leads me to believe that the index is incomplete.
> Anyone else have this happen?

Yes.....I have Hardman ancestors who I found on the 1880 census in Spencer County that I found by going through page by page on Ancestry.com census until I found them listed. Yet, when I key their name in at both places in the search engines....Ancestry.com census & Familysearch.com census.......their names do not come up! So, it pays to have a little patience and sift through the census's page by page in a prticular county that you believe your ancestors are from. It might take hours...but the end result is you have the census with the family you are seeking....showing the siblings and ages of those ancestors you didn't know about before.

Thank You!

Yes, I have <grin> ~ I was sent info that 2 ancestors were on the 1880 and
since I had the disks, decided to check it out ~ they were not there ~ but
another "unknown" was <grin>
