I keep hearing that it is because of identity theft......... stupid thoughts!
If some crook is going to steal someones identity, they aren't going to be
stopped by this......they will go ahead and steal the credit cards, names off of
headstones etc. How can they think that to stop selling the certificates are
going to stop the theft of a person's identity. How many people walk into a
store with a credit card and try to tell someone they are 150 years old? Do they
think about the fact that they are going to be losing all of the revenue that
we pay out for those certificates? Do the people in records realize that by
helping to pass this legislation they may be cutting their own throats because
lost revenue means lost jobs! I don't think there is any good reasoning behind
it anyway. Write everyone you can think of to stop this, we have a right to
know about our relatives........... IT IS PART OF OUR IDENTITY! just my
