Moderate oven would be 350 I would think.

I was taken with the book. After the recipes and index is some
interesting reading also.

On pg 7 the Apple Pie without Apples, I've made that for a good
many years and never knew it to be an old recipe. I had cut it
out of the newspaper...lol.

Put this in my favorites as it's good to see how our ancestors
lived...Lois

Thanks for posting the web addy for the cook book. Was reading some of the
recipes and would like to try to make the spider cornbread. Directions say
bake in "moderate oven."
What temp would that be?
