Dear Kansas City members,
I am trying to find a death date and place for Malinda Redding Bowen
Phillips.
We know that she was living in Kansas City when her son Charles died in 1913.
Her first husband Rufus Bowen died in 1904 and she married Doctor ? Phillips.
This marriage may have taken place in Leavenworth KS. Malinda and Rufus had
another son, Ora Burton Bowen, who was with the Army at Ft Leavenworth and a
daughter Jennie who married Burton Schnaible. Malinda was born in 1849 in
Huntington Co.,IN. Her father was Allen Redding.
Any information on this family will be greatly appreciated.
Would there be an obituary file from the local newspapers???
