KAUFMAN boys.

14. John W. DICKINSON, better known as "Dixie," killed by the cars.

15. T. L. KIMBALL appointed general passenger agent of the Kansas
Pacific.

21. ASKINS, of Falmouth, Ky., commits suicide by shooting himself
in the head.

24. Allen PALMER lodged in jail. George H. SOUTHWORTH, a printer,
killed at the Coliseum.

25. Judge E. P. WEST on "The Buried Race of Kansas," before the
Academy of Science.

27. Thanksgiving day. Dinner to the newsboys and bootblacks, given
by Mayor SHELLEY.

29. Announcement of the sale of the Narrow Gauge railroad to GOULD.
