Stephen White has given permission to post the following response to the
question of Jean’s parents”



“Jean-Baptiste-Olivier Henry was a son of Jean Henry and Marie-Madeleine
Thériot. His parents were identified over thirty years ago by Father
Patrice Gallant, who noticed how close "Baptiste Olivier" was in La Roque's
census to Jean and Marie-Madeleine in the Rivière-du-Ouest settlement of Île
St-Jean.”
