My great-great grandfather was Daniel SULLIVAN of Wexford, Ireland. He came
to Louisiana (East Baton Rouge Parish) about 1818-1819 - I don't think it's
1820 because I can't find him on these lists. He was born about 1800.
I have siblings for him from Wexford (Michael (married Catherine MURPHY of
Ireland), Patrick, James and Mary FENLON/FINLEN but they all came later. I
get the impression that Mary was the eldest (about 1798 birth) then Dan.
Does anybody know if I can find a record for this?
Martha
Another Irish/Cajun/German melange
10 of my ancestors came to Louisiana on La Bergere and La Ville d'Archangel -
Olivier LEBLANC, Marie LEBERT, Marie Rose LEBLANC, Charles THIBODEAUX,
Magdelaine HENRY, Pierre Charles THIBODEAUX, Ambroise BOURG, Marie Modeste
MOULAISON, Magdelaine Adelaide BOURG, Joseph BOURG.
I'm also descended from the SEITZ/SIDES family of East Baton Rouge Parish.
