I can't imagine a good way to evacuate a million plus people.

Have you heard the Los Angeles evacuation plan, if something horrible happened there? Shut down the freeways. That's the plan.

There is NO good plan for a huge disaster. It doesn't exist.

If we don't have open debate like Mayor Nagin, Prez Bush, Gov. Blanco, etc.
are doing now then we have no reason to do better. Only when the newsmedia
debates and publishes will politicians do anything.

If you had sat in your car for 12 hours last year in Hurrican Ivan while
driving from New Orleans to Baton Rouge which is a 1 hour drive - you still
be debating, cussing and shooting folks.
