DOBR v 2 p 725 has same children. Parents are identified as from Bayou
Sarah so they probably had been here a while. If they had just come
from US children would have been baptised there!

Looking at Godparents all Acadian (the parents wanted their children to
be to be accepted). How soon did they marry & did they marry
Acadians? (Burke = Bourque = Bourg?)

Remember the only church that the Spanish allowed was Roman Catholic.
Children could not be baptised in parent's church. Any church would be
better than none. If family converted parents would have baptised also?

Gut feeling v 2 p 630 has birth of Lavinne Richardson d/o Theophile &
Christine Laid. Theophile is s/o Henry & Anne Marie Hubert? (both grand
mothers Anne (Marie) Hubert?) Please check the possibility that
Theophile may be brother of Marie/Mary.

St Jo BR are the hardest entries for me to read.
