My grandparents were Benjamin Clifton and Margaret Thresa de Generes.
Their farm and home was located on the north bank of Bayou Des Glaises
between Klienwood and Big Bend in Avoyelles Parish. My grandmother died in
1907, and the farm house was destroyed in the 1912 flood. As a result, our
family has no picture of our grandmother. She may be included in a photo
of a community gathering such as at Klienwood School or a church event. I
would appreciate hearing from anyone who may have an old picture that might
possibly include her.
