Seeking info on Joseph & Ellen LABELLE, my 3rd great grandparents. Ellen
was born abt 1832 in Wisconsin and is found in the 1870 Census in 4th Ward
of Oshkosh with 3 daughters as follows:
Roseanna abt 1859
Polly abt 1863
Victoria abt 1865

Joseph is NOT with them at the time of the census. I do not know if they
were divorced, he was living somewhere else or is he was deceased at that
time. I have not been able to locate him at this census or any census.
Ellen eventually remarried someone with last name of WOOD and moved to
Duluth, Minnesota where she was living on January 24, 1910.

Victoria LABELLE went on to marry Simeon James THURBER on January 16, 1884
in Antigo, Wisconsin.

I'd like to find Ellen's maiden name and her family line and the family of
my Joseph LABELLE. I assume he or his family came from Canada and before
that France. What ever became of Victoria's sisters? Were there more
siblings, etc?

All help is greatly appreciated.
