Surname: Yocum, Towns, Lemons, Brown
-------------------------
To Art:
About Bert Yocum, I do not have much information.
He had two half-brothers that went by the names of Lew and Everett. Ernie
James Yocum,Sr., who was my father, had two brothers, one named Joe and
another who died as a teenager named Robert. He had three, I think, sisters
whose names were Mary, who was adopted out, Mae, who is living in Iowa
today, and Pearl, who also lives in Iowa.
About Ida Vivian Towns, her parents were James D. Towns and Laura Stall.
Laura's siblings were Henry, William B., Benjamin Franklin, Vallie, and
Annie.
The Browns, I do not have any information on them except the comment of
my mother that said that we were related.
The Lemons, my information here is also limited but I think that there
is a possibly that they may have been in Bienville Parish to have connected
with with the others families. My guess would be that the Yocums lived
in Iowa or Missouri and moved to Louisiana.
Any help linking up my family in Bienville Parish, La. will be appreciated.
Thanks!
Pat Patterson
