Hello! Afraid that I know very little about my possible Dupree. I'm looking
for information on William Dupree Cox Sr., who was the Marshall of Dubach,
Louisiana. His son was William Dupree Cox Jr., who married Clara Hannah
Fowler (with Orange Texas roots) and had a daughter named Martiel Cox Howell
(my grandmother). Afraid that I don't know dates, but by counting generations
backward I'd guess that William Senior lived between 1850 and 1920. I know
absolutely nothing beyond this! I'm hoping that the middle name DUPREE
refers to a maternal connection to a Dupree family from the South. -- Elizabeth
