Can someone please check 1870 census for Bienville Parish for James Lafayette Evans. He was born in Al in 1846. He was married but I do not know his wife's name. He may have had a couple of children. He did have daughter later, Annie, in 1871. Also, is there a Salem Cemetery near Bienville?
