I found a census record for Arthur Anderson Ross Sr that also lists his father's birthplace as North Carolina. My grandmother, the wife of Melvin Ross, is the person that always told me her husband's grandfather ( Arthur Benjamin Ross) came over from Scotland. She got this information from my grandfather. I have been looking for the last 2 years for something on A.B. Ross and have not come up with anything. My line is Malvin Ross, son of Melvin Ross, son of Arthur Anderson Ross Jr., son of Arthur Anderson Ross Sr , son of Arthur Benjamin Ross. If I do find something I'll let you know.
