I'm looking for the names of the parents of John A. LOFTIN, born in Lincoln County, NC; married Martha Ann "Mattie" Beatty on October 10, 1877 in Catawba County, NC; raised a family (Charlie, Minnie, Willie, Mary, and others who were born and died between census years) in both Catawba County and Gaston County in North Carolina, then moved to Bienville Parish, LA, by 1910 Census. He died on December 14, 1916, at the age of 60 in the Beinville Parish, LA. Certificate # 12140 (I have not seen it). LA State Deaths 1900-1929 Death Indexes. Also, can anyone confirm that his brother was Eldridge L. Loftin who married Nettie Travis on December 15, 1886(?), in Richland, LA., or Eldridge L. Loftin who married Arther Monday on June 22, 1876, in Lincoln Co. NC.
