My wife's great great grandfather was a William Monroe Vail born around 1860. We don't know who his parents were but wonder if he is from your family. Our William Monroe Vail married Delia A Timms in Tennessee. They had six children. Ida was their first. They moved to Harrisburg Arkansas area. One of their children was Jesse. He married Ellen Audrey Spence. Their child was William Eugene Vail. William Eugene married Vera Vail. They had Barbara and Jessie. Does any of this fit in? Thanks for any help you can give.
