I noticed a couple of posts you've made concerning the Rogers family in Bienville Parrish. I am a descendant of Nancy Rogers through her daughter Harriet Rogers Simmons. Harriet and her husband James and family did indeed move to Texas after the Civil war and settled first in Robertson County and then moved into Bell County. The information I have on the Rogers clan is spotty at best (hence my search of the message boards) but would love to hear from a cousin related to this line.
