Col. J.A. SNIDER, who has been in Benton since Sunday on legal business will return to his home at Bellevue this morning.

Mrs. M.A. BURNS, formerly of Fillmore, this parish and now a resident of Baltimore, visited friends in Shreveport last week.

Miss Lena INGRAM, who came down from New Lewisville, Ark to attend the marriage of her cousin, Miss Ida Lou LARKIN to Mr. W.F. DENNIG was the guest of Misses Eva and Maud LARKIN a few days last week.

Mr. W.F. DENNIG and Miss Ida Lou LARKIN were married at the residence of the bride's father, Mr. T.P. Larkin in ward 5 by the Rev. P.H. HENSLEY on the 2nd inst. The Banner hopes the happy young couple may realize to the fullest their anticipations of happiness.

Mrs. W.R. BUMGARDNER, a most estimable lady and devoted wife and mother, died at her home about three miles west of Bellevue recently. She was the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. G.W. LOCKEY of Bellevue.
