I am a descendant of Lewis Burton, abt:unk, originally from TX. He was my
gg-grandfather. His son was James Wesley Burton, abt: 25 Jul 1884. James
lived with his daughter Helen and her husband Fred Williams until his death,
approximately May 1937 in Hope AR. James' mother name was Jennie (maiden,
unk), birthplace: Mexico. James married a Emma Featherston of Lafayette AR
in 1909, they had one daughter, Helen Geneva Burton abt Nov 1914.Helen
married Fred Williams of Hempstead, Spring Hill AR. He is the son of Jerry
and Margaret Williams of Hempstead Co. AR.

I have little information on the Burton family. It is my understanding that
Lewis Burton was married twice and had a large family. Additionally, he had
several sisters/brothers. I would appreciate any information or suggestions
on how to research this family.
