I am still looking for info on my gr. grfather, Parley DAvis, married elizabeth Eaves in 1887, Cameron Parish, La. One of their sons, John Thomas Davis, lived around Bell City or Sweet Water, Calcasieu Parish, or so I heard! I cannot find proof of this in any way. Has anyone heard of him or his family? After his first wife died in 1932, he married Eliza Broussard? again , hearsay. Thanks for any info on this family or the Eaves from Johnsons Bayou, Cameron Parish,who was kin to Eaves in Calcasier, or so I heard.
