I am looking for information on Coates From Caldwell parish.
I'm trying to piece them all together.
my great grandfather was Simeon Coates b.1856 his father was Charles Austin
Coates, his father was Austin Coates b. 1788 d.1730 in wilkinson Co.,Ms, his
father was William Coates b. abt. 1761 in Va.
was in the revolutionary war and moved to South Carolina then, to
Davidson Co,Tn.
Simeons mother is believed to be Martha Burch. I need information on her . we
believe she came from Lincoln parish. They are believed to have moved to La
