I find a Daniel Tullos listed in Civil War Service Records published by
Ancestry.com under Company F, 28 (Grays) Louisiana Infantry. Sure sounds
like the same soldier; Roll-box 378, Roll-exct 29, and Roll-Rec 3453. This
information can be used to request service record. A Daniel N. Tullos shows
up in Jackson Parish, LA Census Index, on page 404, but I do not find him in
1870 index.
