My great great grandmother was Nancy Allen. She married Zaccheus Adkins probably around 1848. They lived in Henry Co., GA. He died in April 1852. Nancy and her 5 mo. old Sarah Prudence (my great grand-mother) and 3 yr. old Martha Jane moved with the Adkins family to Claiborne Parish, LA which was at one time Bossier Parrish. She remarried a William J. Smith. She had one sister named Sara Ann Allen who was born 12 April 1835. I would like any information about Nancy, her sister, or her parents.... OR about Sarah Prudence Adkins Scott who married William Oliver Scott OR about William Oliver Scott and/or Mose Bush. William Oliver Scott's father's sister was married to Mose or Moses Bush. After William Oliver's father died (name unknown) from a falling timber on the riverboat he worked on, William Oliver and his brother John lived with the aunt and her husband Mose/s Bush. William Oliver and Mose/s joined the confederate army and were released at the same time in 1865.!
