Hi Tom,
The index that I have doesn't list any dates....just the numbers of the
files. So I can't tell you what the date on any of them are. All I can
say is that they started over with #1 in 1849 when the courthouse
burned....so a number like 1200 would be a good deal later in years
after 1849. But looking at the various probates that I have in my
files, they don't really seem to be in a strict numbering/year pattern.
Anyway, I looked at all of the surnames you listed and the only Susan
listed is this:
Susan L. Taylor, partition, probate packet #1206.5
I don't know what "partition" means....I've never seen one of these.
Perhaps it is something to do with partitioning of the estate property
or something like that? Does anyone else know what that reference
means?
