Looking for anyone researching DICKERSON or HARRIS families in Claiborne
Parish, LA or Union Co, AR 1870's to 1900 or so. Specifically the F L
Dickerson (Franklin L and Malissa A ?) family listed on 1880 fed census
for the Parish, though other Dickerson lines there then may be related,
especially the F W Dickerson family group 38.

L. Dickerson (M 32 GA Farmer 320 400), M. A. (F 26 AL), B. F. (M 8 MS),
E (F 6 MS), N (V?) (F 4 MS), W R (M 1 ?)

Family group 40 1880 fed census for Claiborne Parish, LA lists: F. L (M
43 GA GA SC Farming), Malissa (F 38 AL GA AL), B. F. (M 18 MS GA AL
Epilepsy), E. N. (Ella N) (F 15 MS GA AL), V. A. (F 12 MS GA AL), W. R.
(M 10 LA GA AL), E. S. (F 8 LA GA AL), M. T. (M 6 LA GA AL), J. E. (M 4
LA GA AL), and Minnie (F 2 LA GA AL).
Note: Names on this census for the Parish mostly abbreviated.
This family group or probable derivative not listed in Parish for 1900.

Ella married William Albert Harris of Union Co AR in 1882 (son of
William Henry Harris of Leake Co, MS and later Union Co, AR). William
Albert Harris died 1/20/1901 Union Co, AR. Ella died ca 1911, Union Co,
AR. Both listed in Albert Harris family on Union Co 1900 census with
several children. William Albert Harris went by Albert because his
father William Henry Harris lived in the same community.

Malissa A Dickerson later obtained land patent homestead certificate
12394 based on application 24035 in Union Co, AR in 1905 as "widow of
Franklin L Dickerson" under the name "Franklin L Dickerson."

Malissa Dickerson filed CW pension application based on F L Dickerson CW
service. Filed in AR.
Note: have index listing, but yet to obtain record.

Probable links to this line:
Michael Dickerson and Sarah ? of Attala Co, MS had a son named Franklin
born ca 1838.

Family group 1612 1860 fed census Attala Co, MS lists: Michael Dickerson
(M 41 SC Farmer 200), Sarah (F 44 SC), Franklin L. (M 21 GA), Cicero (M
14 MS), Charles (M 10 MS), James (M 8 MS), William (M 5 MS).

Family group 48 (p 131A) 1870 fed census for Attala Co, MS lists: M M
(?) Dickerson (M 53 SC Farmer 500), Sarah (F 54 SC), Charles J (? maybe
P or I) (M 20 MS), J M (M 18 MS), Wam (abv. William ?) W (maybe H) (M 15
MS).

Family group 70 (p 132) 1870 fed census for Attala Co, MS lists: C
(Cicero perhaps?) Dickerson (M 24 MS Farmer 200), Martha (F 20 MS), Wam
(abv. for William?) (M 3 MS), Sarah (F 1 MS).

Michael was likely the son of Levi and Temperance ? Dickerson (he was
next door to Temperance on 1850 fed census, and may be the same family
group reported on a WFT group listing Levi and Temperance residing in
Attala Co, MS. - Temperance listed as death in Attala Co, MS - Levi had
brother James that also was likely to be the same James listed on the
census records for the county 1850 to 1870 - ages and pob seem to be
likely).

Temperance Dickerson (F 50 NC Farmer 400), Nancy A (F 19 GA), Cena(o?) W
(F 16 GA), Martha J (maybe I) (F 14 GA), Sarah L (F 12 GA), Mary J
