William Shephard was listed in the 1880 census of Claiborne parish, LA, 8th Ward, p 408C, age 33 GA, with wife Melvina (McConathy), age 22 LA, and mother Sallie, 74 SC. William was the son of Nathan Shepard and Sarah H. (Unknown) Walker. Would like to have a chart of descendants.
