I have the book Cemetery Inscriptions of Claiborne Parish, Louisiana, Volume I. In the listing of Colquitt and the Gordon Cemetery I do not find anyone listed with the name Simms or Sims. I did however find on page 17 Colquitt Cemetery a
Eliza C. Odom Born 17 Sep 1825 and died 18 Jan 1879. w/o H. P. Odom. H. P. was born 15 Dec 1825 and died 27 Aug 1894. I also checked the Summerfield Cemetery and there were no listing for Simms/Sims. Sorry, but if you come up with another suggestion let me know and I will look for you. I have copies of most Cemeteries in Claiborne Parish.
