CAMP, April 17, 1940
Miss Lily Williams visited her aunt, Mrs. Miller Maddox and family of Haynesville the first of last week.
Mrs. Jimmy Davidson of Shreveport, and Miss Lily Williams visited the latter's sister, Mrs. H. L. Dendy and family in Bernice last Thursday afternoon.
Messrs. B. E. Williams of the Homer oil field, and C. N. Wilkins of Homer, visited L. B. Williams and family Friday afternoon.
Mrs. B. F. Gentry visited Mrs. C. J. Gentry last week. Mrs. and Mrs. F. O. Gentry visited their daughter, Mrs. Clyde Morgan and family of Shreveport last weekend.
Mrs. S. J. Kendrick visited Mrs. C. J. Gentry Saturday afternoon.
Mr. E. K, Kendrick, Mrs. and Mr. John Detenheim and son, Edward, visited in Shreveport Saturday.
Mr. Luther Crocker of Marshall, Texas, and Miss Imogene Kendrick of Shreveport visited Miss Lily Williams Saturday afternoon.
Several from this community attended preaching in Homer Sunday.
Mrs. B. C. Adkins and family visited her daughter, Mrs. Winston Lyles and family of Homer Sunday.
Miss Lily Williams and Mrs. Jimmy Davison visited her sister, Mr. E. B. Gamble in Shreveport Sunday afternoon.
Mrs. B. F. Gentry, L. B. Williams, and Mrs. C. J. Gentry visited Mrs. and Mrs. E. K, Kendrick Sunday afternoon.
Mrs. L. C. Adkins and son Lamar, Visited Mrs. L. B. Williams Sunday afternoon.
Mrs. and Mrs. Howard Malone, of Springhill, announce the arrival of twins, a boy and girl, on April 5th. They have been named Ralph and Ruth. Maternal grandparents are Mrs. and Mrs. E. M. Knighten, of the Harris community. Mrs. Malone will be remembered here at Miss Edna Knighten.

Mrs. M.O. Teague, of Haynesville, visited her mother, Mr. S. J. Kendrick last Tuesday.
Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Adkins, of Harris, and daughter, Eloise, of Shreveport, were recent visitors of his mother, Mrs. Ella Adkins.
Mr. and Mrs. James B. Tindall moved last Tuesday to Beaumont, Texas, where they will make their future home.
Marion Lewis and Kenneth and Johnnie Noland met with the Homer 4-H Club boys and girls at Lisbon Saturday to participate in the Achievement Day contests.
Rev. Shirey, of Weldon, preached at the Union Grove Church of Christ at 11:00 A. M. last Sunday.
Dalton Gentry and family of Cotton Valley, visited his mother, Mrs. Frank Gentry Tuesday.
Mrs. and Mrs. Drayton White, of Evergreen, visited their parents, Mrs. and Mrs. Jeff Beavers last weekend.
Mrs. Mitchell, of Homer, visited her daughter, Mrs. Corbin Tinsley, and family last weekend.
Mr. Carroll Kendrick and family of Henderson, Texas, visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. K. Kendrick the past weekend.
Mrs. Pete Pixley and Miss Beatrice Adkins visited her cousin, Mr. R. W. Lyles of Homer, last Saturday.
