I love those maps, especially the one at
http://www.segenealogy.com/louisiana/la_maps/la_cf.htm that shows the changing parishes by date. However, the
northern boundary doesn't seem to change so I think the theoretical line didn't
change, it was just the surveyor getting lost in those hills that made the
difference. Don't know how many of you have actually been out in the hills of
Claiborne Parish but, there's still some pretty rough country in parts of it.
