Hi, everybody!

I am not new to this list, but I just recently found another LACY family
connection. (I will post the other family later.) I would like to find
out more about my fourth great grandmother, Mindwell LACY. I believe that
she may have been born in Connecticut - possibly in Newtown in Fairfield
County, but I have no proof on that. I would like to know who her parents
are and if she had any siblings, etc. I believe that she died before 1850
in either Sandgate, Bennington Co., VT or in Belleville or Montrose, Dane
Co., WI. In 1850, Thomas PECK was living with his daughter Amarillis and
her husband, Aaron SMITH, in Belleville, Dane Co., WI. Mindwell was not
listed in that census. Thank you in advance for any help on this!

FIRST GENERATION

1. Mindwell LACY was born about 1786.

She was married to Thomas PECK [son of George PECK and Anna (-?-)] about
1812 in
Sandgate, Bennington Co., Vermont. Thomas PECK was born on 1 Apr 1786 in
Newtown,
Fairfield Co., Connecticut. Mindwell LACY and Thomas PECK had the
following children:

2 i. Phebe Ann PECK was born on 20 Nov 1813 in Sandgate,
Bennington
Co., Vermont.
+3 ii. Harriet PECK.
4 iii. Eli PECK was born on 25 Jun 1816 in Sandgate,
Bennington Co.,
Vermont.
5 iv. Amarillis PECK was born on 2 Aug 1820 in Sandgate,
Bennington Co.,
Vermont.

SECOND GENERATION

3. Harriet PECK was born on 10 Apr 1815 in Sandgate, Bennington Co.,
Vermont. She died
on 10 Dec 1853 in Belleville, Dane Co., Wisconsin.

She was married to Allen Cheney BOWKER (son of James BOWKER and Sallie
ESTES)
about 1845 possibly in Belleville, Dane Co., Wisconsin. Allen Cheney
BOWKER was born on 9 Dec
1814 in Shushan, Washington Co., New York. He was living in 1850 in Spring
Dale Twp.,
Dane Co., Wisconsin. He died on 28 Feb 1881 in Dane Co., Wisconsin.
Harriet PECK and Allen Cheney BOWKER had the following children:

6 i. Esther A. BOWKER was born in 1847 in Belleville,
Dane Co.,
Wisconsin.
+7 ii. Thomas P. BOWKER.
+8 iii. Harriet Rosalia BOWKER. (my third great
grandmother)
