Hello out there.

I am another descendant of the Lacy Family of Fairfield, CT via Henry Lacy, a
son of Edward Lacy and Sarah, who removed to NJ with his wife, Hannah
Moorehouse Lacy; David Lacy, a son of Henry and two sons of David, Jacob and
Samuel.

For the record: it is stated in several sources that the Lacy Family of
Fairfield, CT was in Salem, MA before going to CT. There is not one shred of
evidence to support this belief. The children of Edward and Sarah Lacy were
baptized in CT. There was a Lacy family involved with the Salem witch trials
and one source of family information does mistakenly mix up the two families
and this is most likely the source of the location error.
