Hi - I've been monitoring your discussion for a while, hoping to find
something that would tie in with my Lees of Williamsburg, S.C. &
Covington Co. Ala. research. Maybe this is it. I know nothing of the Lacy
family, but it was handed down in my Lee family that young married
couples were told "name them after the old ones." And my grandmother's
brother was "Lacy LeGrand Lee." Their great-grandfather Greenberry Lee
b1800 had brother Eley Lee born 1799 in Williamsburg, S.C. If this makes
anyone think of anything that would help me, I'd appreciate it. Sandra
Taylor. (P.S. We also have other Williamsburg families in Covington
County in mid 1800s if that helps anyone.)
