Yes, William Lacy of Christian Co.,KY. came from Chatham Co.,NC, (the son of
Philemon and Ann Durham Lacy), about the year 1798-99.

I believe the Elijah Jones was also from the Chatham Co., area, although I
have not researched that for sure.
Well, have faith!!! After awhile those repetitious names seem to sort
themselves out, if you don't let yourself become overwhelmed with them.
Just concentrate on a "timeline". I know it's hard when you are so far away
from the area you are researching.
