Dear Toots & Joel, Rec'd your E-mail yesterday, and was glad to hear from you and that you made it home okay. I don't guess Tom completely eliminated Charles from his list, he got another e-mail from him (the usual) and he went ahead and answered it. It has gotten pretty darn hot around here, takes all the energy out real quick. We did get out and mowed the yard (Charles did) and I weed eated around the flower garden, and planted the Bermuda grass seed I had, but that's been about it other than take care of the garden stuff Charles brings in. Allan Ray came up from Houston last week end, spent the night and day. Cecil Frizzel (I don't know if you remember him or not, I think you met him and Ginger one time when you were down here) Anyway, they called and want us to meet them in Deqeen Friday afternoon, they want to take us out for Seafood. He had a stroke last year, and a few mini ones since, so it surprised me that he's coming up. Gene Ladd had told him you were!
here and he wanted to invite you too if you were still here. You asked how much I have done on the monks cloth, the first one is almost finished, and I"me on the third row on the second one. I picked up some more yesterday in natural for the Southwest pattern, but will wait till I get the first one finished. Yes, I would like for you to pick me up some colored monk cloth,black, yellow, red and navy. You said you have some Christmas patterns? I wont be able to get it all at one time, but will send you money as I go on. I keep looking for the color around here when ever I go to a Walmart, but haven't seen it yet. Bill and Terrie have gone to Missouri to pick Joni up, she told her mother she wants to live with her dad , and of course that set off a rage, she (Bunnie) called Bill and told him to come get her, she wanted everything that belonged to Joni out, including her bed etc and she didn't want to see her again. That wont last, that's just her way of getting back a!
t Joni. I know Joni has been on drugs, so Bill is going to have his hands full and I don't envy him in the least. Well, I guess I had better get busy and try getting this place cleaned up. Take care and don't work too hard. Write when you can. We love you. Love, Eve and Charles
