Looking for information on Roselin or Roseline Posso - Mother to Edward
Manuel Flores, born 12/24/1847 in Caddo, Louisiana. Have found information
that his parents names were Andrew Flores and Roselin Posso.

There is a Roseline Posso listed in the 1850 de soto parish

also, in the family records I had a 1880 cencus item From Wilson County,
TX #110119 on Manuel and Nancy Flores - that lists a grandmother living
with them - Medina Louise WF Grandmother (a widow) age 116 (note from me
- age 116??????????)
Medina Louise born in LA - father and mother born in France - grandmother
to who and how does Rosline Posso fit in?

Also received some correspondence that Roselin's children were Peter, Victor,
Lewis, Joe and Manuel -

Edward Manuel Flores married Nancy Ann Fellers
Edward Manuel Flores Children were:
Manuel Edward Flores b 12-21-1877 (that is my ggrandfather)
John Flores 11-11-1879
Robert Lee Flores 2-17-1881
Lewis Felix Flores 8-10-1884
Mary Janie Flores 5-4-+1886
Claudie Florews 3-8-18/88
Joseph Flores 1-13-1892
Richrd Monroe Flores 7-23-1873

Some in the family have changed their name to Flowers

Also, cannot find info on Andrew Flores.
Also the listing on Roseline Posso on the de soto parish census of 1850
id' number is LAs5a1369242.

There is a Mary A. Posso listed on LAS5a1369241.

Does anyone know if more information could be had by seeing the LAS5a....
documents? And who would I contact to get a copy?

Some research says perhaps name was LeFleur?, but other correspondence
says that name was never in the mix. Could name Posso be Poissant?
Also, is Caddo County, LA in the De soto parish?

Another question, from research on Louisiana folklore, lists a Manuel Flores
as a revolutionary of some sort - is there a connection to Edward Manuel
Flores? When I started this, I never knew the parents name of Edward Manuel.
I have no idea if this fits in the equation.
