Try the area around Central. Livingston Parish is also very popular but
there's been such a rush to develop and populate the area that rent may be
higher.

Also, my aunt lives in the Broadmoor area in Baton Rouge, which is still
real nice, especially if you are going for a private school. There are many
to choose from, too in EBR Parish.
