You will not find Robert Reily in any census--- he died in 1782, but I do have his will. Robert's wife was Ann. There is a Mrs. Riley in the 1790 census. But, there is no real information that this our Ann. We do have some 1760 records that we have been working on for about a year trying to find out her maiden name. This information is good, but not proof.

Samuel is their only known child. There are those that think there was one, maybe two more sons, and one daughter. Unless we can find someone that has traced their roots back to Robert, through some other line, we will most likely never know.

Samuel, is not Samuel Warburton. Some put him down as that, but no record ever has him as anything but Samuel.

Yes, Samuel is in the 1790 and 1800 South Carolina census. I will have to look at my picture fill, but I do not remember if he is the 1810 census of Mississippi or South Carolina.

There is a Passport for Samuel to pass through Indian Territory in Georgia in 1810. He was in Mississippi in the 1820 census. He and his wife Martha Nelson McDonald are buried in the Reily Cemetery on their old home place outside of Centreville, Wilkinson County, Mississippi.

Samuel and Martha had 12 children. Six had children. My G-G-G Grand Father John Young Reily was one of them. John Young Reily married Mary Higginbotham, nee McKneely. Mary was married to Cleaton Higginbotham. Their son, that is in the old Bible with John Young is Thomas Frances Henry Higginbotham. Born June 18, 1821 - Died July 12, 1828.

John Y. and Mary had several children, but only Martha M. and Samuel Warburton reached adulthood. Also this is the first time we have any records of any Samuel Warburton Reily.

Samuel Warburton married Mary Charlotte Boatner. They had four sons. John Boatner, James Cason, William Boatner, and Thomas Gustavus Reily.

Martha M. married Benj. H. Williams, son of Enos and Rebecca Williams. They has several children.

Sam'l and Charlotte are my G-G Grand Parents. They are buried in Morehouse Parish. Their old home is still there.

Their son John Boatner Reily, Sr. married Bettie Ward. They had 11 children. Their youngest child was Orville Wainwright (Wig) Reily, Sr., my Grand Father. He married Dot (No Middle Name) Higginbotham. Dot's parents were Will and Frances--- she was a Brodnax. My Grand Parents has three children. My Parents had two children. I, Orville Wainwright (Wain) Reily, III, have three children.

The generations going back to my G-G-G-G-G Grand Parents Robert and Ann--- I have at least a thousand records and files. I never put anything out there that I have not seen and have 100% proof of. If I have information that has good reasoning, I send it out to a few people to help me find that 100% proof. But, many have put out all kind of information that is just not true. Then someone will pick up the incorrect information, accept it as fact, put it in there files and post it on some message board as fact--- and on and on it goes.

I could spend a year correcting information on genealogy message boards. I have a book on the Higginbotham's. A hard bound, published book--- and it has many errors in it. Some I know first hand and some I have looked up.

My G Grand Mother Higginbotham was born in the 1860's and died when I was in the 4th grade. She told me many stories and took me to many place in Louisiana where the Higginbotham's had lived. There is much first hand information on the Higginbotham's and Reily's in Collinston, Louisiana, but those people are all in their 70's and 80's, and a few in their 90's. I go and talk to them every chance I get, but it want be long before they are gone.

So I guess you see that I am not a fan of just any information and you can see it really burns me to find incorrect information posted as fact.

It is late, contact me tomorrow if I can answer an other questions.
