Dutchtown, my high school played them in 6-man football back in the dark
ages. Thins have changed since then but a couple years ago I gave a lecture in
a series down in Carville. It seems that as I headed south from Baton Rouge
on I-10 I turned off at intersection # 173 going to Geismar. If I remember
correctly, the first small town I went through was Dutchtown, just south of
I-10. By the way, my high school was Denham Springs High and Port Vincent was
named for my ancestor, Vincent Scivicque.
My lecture, Radiation & Radiological Weapons of Mass Destruction in a series
called Basic and Advanced Disaster Life Support.
