WILLIAM W. WOOD and ADA SEARCY WOOD moved to Franklin Parish sometime between 1900 and 1910. It is believed that ADA lived to be nearly 100; she was b. January 1862 in Alabama. William was b. 1857 in MS. Seeking information on their birthplaces; death dates, where buried. Their children were:

1) Zelma Wood, m. Luther D. Rodgers; later m. Walter McKinney
2) Mary Elizabeth Wood, m. John Thomas Shelton III; she died in 1910; (was my great-grandmother)
3) Ben W. Wood, b. abt 1887
4) Lida May Wood, b. 1889, MS; m. W. Emmit Burnside; she died abt 1918 MS
5) Corrie M. Wood, b. abt 1894
6) Cora Lee Wood, d. at 3 years
7) Lorena Wood, d. at 4 years
8) Clara Wood, b. abt 1902
9) Leonard Wood, b. 1903, m. Mary Boyle, Franklin Parish, LA
10) Clarence Wood, lived less than one month

Would like to put together the collateral lines. Believed that William and Ada, the Bennetts and others lived around the Jigger area. Zelma's dau. Nellie m. Cecil Bennett. Thank you.
