Montgomery Man Dies; Last Rites Held May 17

Joseph St. Andre, 79, Montgomery carpenter, died Friday, May 15, at 3:30 p.m. in an Alexandria hospital. He was a native of the Aloha Community in Grant Parish.

Funeral services were held in the Church of Christ at 3 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Luther Richardson officiated. burial was in the Aloha Cemetery.

Survivors are four sons, Oleat and Edward St. Andre of Montgomery, A. J. St. Andre of Colfax, and Brose St. Andre of Ocean Springs, Miss.; two daughters, Mrs. Elvera Daruse of Aloha and Mrs. Antoninette Howell of Houston, Texas; 20 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
