Ed, I also use FTM but I don't know squat about gedcom, etc. I am
computer illiterate, and probably illegitimate, or whatever.

Cornelius is buried at the old Shiloh Cem. east of Winnfield and all the
graves there are unmarked. One of the ladies in the community put one
generic marker there a few years ago.

Oddly, my wife had never been to Winn Parish in her life. She was
raised in Shreveport and we met at Northeast in Monroe, married, and
after college moved here to my home. Been back here since 75. Come to
find out, she was a Mercer descendant, and on her mother's side, a
descendant of part of the same clan I am from on the south end of the
parish. So, she's damn near kin to everyone in Winn Parish.

She could care less about genealogy so I have took it upon myself to do
the deal. Been working on my stuff for years and only for about ayear
on hers. No doubt you have some stuff I need, probably a lot of it.

Now, how to get the info from you, you decide the most convenient way.
I will gladly let you have any and everything I have but be patient.

Where do you live and what do you do; any kin to the dentist Traxler?

Looking forward,

Gregg
