Mary C. Lahr

CHARLOTTE, N.C.-Mary Elizabeth Connolly Lahr, 97, died Jan. 10, 2002, at Presbyterian Matthews Hospital. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. tonight at McEwen Funeral Service, Pineville Chapel. There will be a graveside service 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 14, 2002, at Allegheny County Memorial Park in Pittsburgh.

She was born July 26, 1904, in Pittsburgh, the only child to the late Andrew M. and Wilhelmina (Remensnyder) Connolly.

Elizabeth is survived by her sons, David and Stanley W. Lahr, both of Charlotte; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Lahr in 1982.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital, 332 N. Lauderdale St., Memphis, TN 28100.

Arrangements by McEwen Funeral and Cremation Service, Pineville Chapel.
