ya know what just wants to make me cry?
not knowing if they're relations of ours?
when I knew these friends of Daddy...
being a kid, I called all of them aunt & uncle. 'cause that was being respectful to adults. besides Ambrose Terrebonne, there was Johnny Gerami. and there was Draunet, & Trahan. thomas Nini...others too, but those come to mind now. best I recall they'd all worked on boats together. dredge boats, Standard dredging co. Burlington dredging ? towboats I recall 2 of'em
the Rush & the Ruby C. afterwards daddy worked for galveston-texas city pilots..and he never was gone from home again...we were soooo happy!!!
oh during war time daddy had clearance. I went to work with him & got to see a submarine tied up in galveston!! alice
ps
I'm 70 now...I say, keep those birthdays coming!
hey I never met a birthday I didn't like! ayieeee

Alice

We need to share with northern cousins that Terrebonne was a dit name
for Acadian Dupuis family that became the family name in Louisiana.
