Here is the obituary. Hope it helps.

Gordon S. Fisher, a retired research chemist for the U.S. Department of
Agriculture's Southern Regional Research Center, died Wednesday of cardiac
arrest at East Jefferson General Hospital. He was 79. Mr. Fisher was born in
North Loup, Neb., and lived in Metairie for the past 25 years. He earned a
master's degree in chemistry from the University of Nebraska. He was an
elder at Lakeview Presbyterian Church. Survivors include a son, Michael S.
Fisher, and a grandchild. A funeral will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Lake
Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. Visitation will begin
Saturday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in All Saints Mausoleum.
